Okay, I dunno what it is this week… but I got another gem comment today that I just had to share with you guys (I dunno, if this keeps up, maybe I’ll have to start a “spam of the week” feature here on the blog).
Here is the text of the comment:
hello , my name is Richard and I know you get a lot of spammy comments , I can help you with this problem . I know a lot of spammers and I will ask them not to post on your site. It will reduce the volume of spam by 30-50% .In return Id like to ask you to put a link to my site on the index page of your site. The link will be small and your visitors will hardly notice it , its just done for higher rankings in search engines. Contact me *personal info removed* or write me *personal info removed* , i will give you my site url and you will give me yours if you are interested. thank you
Honestly, have you heard of anything so completely ridiculous? I mean sure, he gets 5 bonus points for originality, but on the other hand there is the minus 10 points for complete and utter stupidity. I know lots of spammers? I will tell them not to spam you? I would seriously like to know if anyone actually fell for this…
Good Profits.
