When I woke up this morning, I was greeted by a brand new comment on the blog… which is always exciting, but sadly this one turned out to be garbagio. Can you spot why this is spam:

Long time reader - first time poster.
Oh my gosh you guys I don’t know if you’ve heard of “”conversations with miollionaires”" but I just found out Jason Oman who did that book is going to be doing a new one for female entrepreneurs like us. Here’s the page I came across so you can get updates about it too. *Link Removed* I can’t wait for it because I loved his first book. I hear he’s gonna have Martha Stewart, Ray Rachel, Kim Kiyosaki the wife of the guy from rich dad poor dad.

Pretty clever, pretty clever indeed… but as Charles Bronson would say: No Dice!
Why do I know this is a thinly veiled attempt at spam? Well for starters, the poster is delighted to inform me about this new book for female entrepreneurs “like us”! Last time I checked, Jay nor myself have the particular bits required to be a lady… though Jay can be pretty high maintenance… but I digress.
The nail in the coffin was when I looked at yesterday’s stats and discovered one Google Blog search for “Lady Entrepreneur” had sent a single visitor to our site and it happened to be the post that received the comment. Long time visitor my ass.
I’m all for giving back to regular readers, or even people who just want to take the time to post relevant, on-topic comments that add to the discussion of the post. That’s why I’m going to drop the no-follow tags on comments, but spam is not welcome here.
