My New House

Awhile back I posted that my girlfriend and I had sold our little townhouse and that I was disgusted with the properties coming across our radar, however this past weekend we were able to finally finalize the purchase of a new home in Milton, Ontario.

The process was quite agonizing, but our real estate agent Jorie Presswood did an amazing job at the negotiating table and we managed to shave about $9,000 off the asking price… so if you live in the Mississauga area, you should definitely give her a call!!

Overall, I would say I am quite excited to move, our new house looks great and finally there will be no more annoying neighbors slamming doors at 1:30am.

It’s got 4 bedrooms, 3 washrooms and a perfect 12′ x 30′ room in the basement for my home theater. For resale, it’s got a large lot and overlooks a large park, so we have a lot of things to look forward to.
I’m sure most of you don’t care, but I had to show off just once, and when we finally move in I will post an update that includes our furniture (or lack thereof), so ’til then…

Sweet home. Yea, I can relate to you’re other home by having annoying people live next to you. Last year I was a freshman living in the dorms, and my room was right by a ‘lounge’ and people would go in there and like have a party sometimes or play their guitar. It was annoying haha.

Sounds brutal Glenn, at least it’s one of those events you can look back later in life and laugh at.. What did you study ?

I recently put the neighbors straight by bringing in my 400 watt sub woofer and playing gangsta rap music for all of 6 minutes, now they just glare at me but the noise is manageable..
