So we had a bit of fun on April Fool’s, but I’m sure no one actually believed the obviously fake earnings report. :) However, it’s now time to get back down to the nitty gritty. Jason and I actually had a serious discussion about income reporting this month. He feels that we shouldn’t report our income right now because it’s not large enough to be impressive or make people put stock in what we have to say. I personally feel that while we’re not the top money makers on the net, our income (considering it’s a part-time thing separate from our real jobs) is pretty decent.
We had several discussions about this, and eventually (partly due to the Adsense still performing close to what it did last month) , Jason relented and agreed to my way of doing things. This is something that happens quite a lot in our business decisions. Personally I think Jason just lets me have my way so he can point and laugh when my decisions crash and burn!
However, enough sidetracking and onto observations on the earnings, and the numbers. We actually earned slightly less per day this month (about $5), which was due to both our e-commerce sites earning less. It was a lower-than-average month partly because of the de-indexing Jason spoke about, and not because Adsense has dipped further (thankfully).
Also, last month I did not report the earnings from 2Checkout because they didn’t get deposited until the first few days of March. Jason felt this is incorrect reporting (as the money was technically earned in February). So I will be posting those earnings for March’s revenue, but in the future 2Checkout income will be reported as it’s earned, not as it’s paid to us to appease Jay (and because that does make sense when you think about it). We also had to refund a yearly renewal from 2Checkout, so that almost cut the deposit in half…grr.

That makes for $73.03 per day for the month of March.

Lol I was one who fell for the joke. To me I think that posting these are impressive. Because people would love to earn as much as you 2 do. People have trouble even making 100$ out of adsense. If it were me, I wouldn’t mind earning 2,264$ from running websites every month.
