A few days ago, Dave and I had a mild disagreement over whether or not one of our sites had been de-indexed or not. Since Dave is what I’d call fairly net savvy, discovering that he didn’t know to me means that lots of people don’t realize that searching www.domainname.com isn’t always the best way - in our case, on my screen it showed up as being indexed and on his it wasn’t.
Anyway, if you Google site: www.domainname.com, it will show you every indexed page it has for that domain name. So, if your site isn’t well established, you don’t have to look for your site in a pile of other pages with your domain in them.
