Jay and I are planning our next work day for this Thursday, but it may not work out because he is currently selling his house and showings can pop up at any time.
However, provided no home showings get in the way, we’ll be spending the day working on two fresh new fan sites on clean domains. Late last year, I pushed to build up large numbers of low quality sites to get our earnings up and then after amassing a large number, going back and building them into quality sites. This seems to be biting us in the rear end as even our sites with a good chunk of legitimate links are getting filtered by all but the red headed step child of search engines.
So it’s back to the drawing board, and we’ll see how things work out with clean sites built to be legitimate from day one. If the concept proves impractical, I’m not overly worried. Our holdings still do alright, and Easy By Design is an awesome concept. I’m sure it will do well one way or another. Ultimately, we’re moving our focus to building fewer sites that are much higher quality than what we have now. I also have a few other projects on the go, which Jay opted out of, mainly because they are expensive and I’m a crazy bugger…but more on those in the future :)
