In February we made $2192.13 or $78.29 per day. That’s almost identical to last month’s earnings…unfortunately. The two major factors that played into this that were several of our top ranked sites dropped off page one of Yahoo and our 2checkout payment didn’t arrive til March 2nd.
While $78 per day isn’t bad as a part time income, it’s a bit troublesome for Jay who takes work days off his regular job (I work for myself so taking a work day doesn’t affect my income). So, this month we’re going to have to focus more on working evenings and mornings before work to get stuff done, at least until our income improves a bit.
Losing our Yahoo rankings was another hard hit this month, it was like a punch in the gut to hear about it. Just as things were improving over the double hit we took in January / December and things were looking up, we get this. However, it’s just part of the industry and yet another painful lesson about diversification. I’m excited to get EBD up to speed; it will take a lot longer to build up to a profitability level, but once we’re there we’re laughing. It should be launched in the next few days and that’s what I’m looking forward to right now. I’m committed to keep on trucking until we start to make some headway. Hopefully next month! :)
