Final link report

So this post will wrap up the report on the report of the link building project I have been writing about. We are doing quite a few link building projects for different sites…and I suppose that we could report the results of them all…but it would probably get redundant and boring. Here is a final report on my success rate from 100 link requests sent out:
There are still a few days left before it’s been a week (as you’ll remember, we’ve found that if you’re going to get a response, 95% of the time it’s within a week of the request) So these numbers may change slightly over the next few days, but that’s not a huge deal.

As of right now, the response rate I received was 31% and 22% of the responses have setup the link already. I’m extremely happy with these results, I mean hey I’d like it to be even higher…but I’m not going to balk at 31% :)

After a week has past, I will probably send out emails to anyone who agreed to link but has not yet and keep it in the front of their minds without harassing them. I’m expecting at least a few of the webmasters that responded to flake out, but I’ll do my best to get them all to make good on their initial response.

On an unrelated note…Jay’s posts seem to be a heckuva lot more interesting and useful than my own. I guess I’ll have to fix that.

There you have it! Good Earnings everyone :)
