I logged in this evening to see Dave had posted about our recent upsurge in earnings.. Granted we’re only 4 days into this upswing but it does seem promising.. Our CTR seems to be dropping but our CPM is VERY close to our previous earnings so I’ll be crossing my fingers.
In other news our private multiplayer hacks for battlefield 2 and battlefield 2142 are now setup, its quite snazzy we have our own license server and everything, I am a little less excited about the future prospects for the site just because I was under the impression more games were going to be supported and our traffic for battlefield terms is really low to non existant but now that we have the means it may be worth our while to attempt to rank for those terms.. I have no doubt that will take at least 1-2 months which might put us in a bit of a situation with our hack maker since he signed on largely because of the ammount of traffic we have, but he has a large sum of money up front so I don’t think things will get to bad..
I think to some extent the massive ammout of effort we put into launching our content sites over the summer has ruined my ability to be patient with a website since Im so used to looking at a clump of websites as opposed to tracking the much smaller growth of a single site but things are looking up on all fronts so we should hit 2007 running instead of crawling like we did until late 2006.
