I recently posted about my idea to add a link to a screenshot of your sites stats in link request emails.. In case any of you are wondering how this is turning out still I have some good news after yesterdays responses Ive reached well over 50% in my response rate to the new email templates..
Which is amazing after last years summer long link exchange effort with our local focused sites, I eventually got all 3 sites ranked but I tried everything from completely unique emails to offering $50 cash for sites to link back to me and still had a response just around 2.5-3% so I look forward to trying this tactic out next year when we do some maintenance work on those sites.
